I put a call out on Homestars to get ideas to put a bathroom in an unfinished basement of a house I was purchasing. Ilia from Easy basements reached out right away, I told him of an upcoming walkthrough and he moved things around to be able to join us, right away he could vision the bathroom and a storage space. After the visit I have a 3D drawing of the space measured to scale and a quote in hand. And he was able to start the week after we moved in.
Right from the start everything felt so comfortable and professional. All of the trades were professional and skilled and efficient.
My daughter had Pinterest boards of her gold and white and green bathroom, poor Ilia I kept sending him “inspo” pics. He answered back every time. The whole time he went above and beyond to source the perfect finishes.
We were so pleased with their work and timeliness that I added on the rest of the basement, they were able to complete the whole project in amazing time and got a reasonable price.
I am beyond impressed with this company, and am so pleased with the work they did. I can’t believe all they accomplished in less than a month.

We engaged Ilia and team to remodel our three bathrooms under a very tight timeline. Ilia worked hand in hand with my wife and I to craft out exactly what our vision was and brought it to life on time and with zero overages. We couldn't be happier with the final product - and everyone that sees it comments on the amazing attention to detail that Ilia provided.

Easy Basements is the unicorn contractor. We reached out through Home Stars in April 2025. Easy Basements was one of six contractors to come to our home and quote on our basement. We are a new-ish build with an unfinished basement. The plumbing was roughed in by the builder, by that’s it.
From the very start, Ilia at Easy Basements was organized, communicative, punctual and thoughtful. Ilia addressed all concerns, provided some really cool ideas for our space and gave a very detailed quote. This quote was on par with others, but the level of detail gave me a lot of comfort that everything would be covered.
We requested that our project start mid-to-late August. Ilia, Serge and Alex started on time and finished early… and exactly on budget. There were no hidden fees or surprise add-ons. Our entryway and hallway to the basement were protected and kept tidy – as was the basement. Each of Ilia, Serge and Alex got to know us and our family. Our dog loved the belly scratches! I felt more than comfortable with them in our home. They’d even apologize for working late!! I was kept informed about the project each step of the way. I am very particular, and Ilia and his team constantly met my level of perfection.
I can’t believe we have a whole new living space in such a short amount of time! I will definitely welcome Easy Basements back into my home for future work around the house – I cannot stress how great these guys are. I can't recommend Easy Basements enough! They pulled out all the stops to deliver a beautiful basement apartment for our disabled daughter. Nothing was too much trouble for them, everything was delivered in a tight timeline and on the original quote. Amazing work Ilia, Alex and "the gang"!

Ilia, Alex and the rest of the team were an absolute joy to have for our complete basement renovation. They are extremely skilled and knowledgeable. I want to sincerely thank the company Easy Basements for their help with the remodelling of our basement.
They finished the maintenance on time and inside our finances, which, permit’s be honest, almost impossible in recent times. Our basement has long gone from a dark, cluttered dungeon to a vivid, stylish haven wherein we definitely want to spend time. We now have a comfy circle of relatives room and a high-quality enjoyment vicinity. Even our dog seems to choose it over the residing room!
